In one of the destroyer ochem questions (T/F), it says that a red blood cell is best separated by centrifugation. Is this true? I'm no molecular bio lab tech, but doesnt this method rupture the red blood cells?

Centrifugation is one of the methods that separates cell components without damaging them. RBCs are not ruptured by centrifuging the blood, they are simply separated from the plasma and collect at the bottom of the test tube.
