I have pretty solid experiences and great rec letters. I don't know my MCAT score yet, but my app should be verified and complete with my MCAT score by the last week of August. Do you think I have a shot?

More specifically, I have a good track record with working with underserved communities, and my personal statement makes it clear that my goal is to work with underserved communities. Do you think I have a chance at schools like Howard, as a non-black student?

Mission-based schools (like the HBCU's) are looking for a lifetime of commitment to their cause, not just volunteerism. If you have validated this, you have a chance.
