Hi everyone,
I'm a 4th year neuroscience major with a 3.07 oGPA. I received a 22 AA 23 TS 19 PAT on the DAT. I will be applying for the upcoming cycle.
For my extracurriculars:
1. President of pre-dental club
Traveled abroad to Nicaragua, Honduras, and Mexico to volunteer at free dental clinics and give oral hygiene education
2. Volunteer and shadow at a free clinic, dental fairs and an orthodontist office (~100 hours)
I've shadowed 60 hours for general dentists, 40 hours for orthodontist and 10 each for hygienists, oral surgeons, and endodontists.
3. No Research
Is there anything you guys would recommend to help strengthen my application to make up for my low GPA? Thanks a million!
