hey ppl,
I'm a U.S. citizen IMG (caribbean). step 1 201, step 2 224 on second attempt, cs passed on first attempt. wht are my chances of getting a prelim IM spot? Location doesn't matter to me.

If you apply to a huge number of community programs with a history of taking IMGs, your odds of a (dead end) IM prelim are decent even with the low step 1 and history of retaking step 2, so long as there aren't any other black marks you aren't mentioning. Odds of something categorical, advanced, geographically desirable, or at an academic center are significantly lower, however.
