Hey guys, this might seem a little premature, but I just wanted to get a sort of guideline of how I'm doing so far haha. I go to school at CU- Boulder (sophomore) and am a Idaho resident. Got a 3.5 cGPA so far, and I am currently an intern at my schools Community Health program (teaches about sex-ed, drug responsibility, administers flu shots, etc.) as well as work in a lab on campus (been doing that for about 4-5 months, plan on doing it until graduation). I know a lot of getting into med school resides on doing well on the MCAT, but would you guys recommend anything else I could be doing and get a head start on to boost my chances? Thanks!:)

Try to get that GPA up as much as possible. 3.5 is on the border of being competitive for MD.

If you're a rising sophomore this is indeed way too early, as you noted. You could honestly end up with anything from a 2.5 to 3.9

3.5 is ok. Try to get it to 3.7+ by the time you apply.
