Hi there,

I graduated in 2009 with an Anthropology major. I have no research experience and have done no work in public health before. This past year, I realized that I want to be involved in healthcare and am considering getting a MPH. What is the best way to transition into the field of public health? I want to work for a year or two before I apply to graduate school; what are the types of jobs I should be looking for? So far I have been looking into administrative jobs but if there are other places to look I would love to know.

Also, I want to take some classes while working - what classes would be the most helpful for me? I was thinking about taking intro to epidemiology and biostats, but I have no science or math background from college (except for taking chemistry classes and a geosciences course).

Thanks!
QC
