UC student here in California. My school offers an awesome freshwater ecology class and separate lab component that I am interested in. As bio majors we have free reign as to the labs we need to take for degree status (we need 3). Most take the typical cell biology and biochemistry labs offered. My questions is basically, do medical schools even care with labs you take? Will it reflect poorly at all for me to have taken some ecology courses mixed in with my other bio classes? I have heard conflicting opinions so far....
Mostly I have heard as long as you get an A, they don't care what class you take.
Would love opinions/recommendations
Thanks for the time guys
