I have done clinical observation in gastroenterology, emergency medicine, and endocrinology. I have learned "a lot" on the basis of what the physician job truly is in the past few months of being to each of these specialities.
I have family/integrative/holistic medicine with a DO as well as neurosurgery lined up for clinical observation as well.
To the questions: is clinical observation one of if not the most worth while experience you have had as a premedical student and if so, why?
(I understand there will be those with prior EMT CNA PA Phleb RN Scribe positions and say they gained a worthwhile clinical experience that way
