how do u know the clonality in male
its given that it can be determined using G6PD isoform in female as it is on X chromosome
Androgen receptor gene also located on X chromosome

Actually hoping to get an answer for this as well.

Seems to be that this technique is only useful in females - men will only express one G6PD isoform regardless.

Actually further googling revealed the answer by Dr Sattar himself

"Pathoma Hi X , G6PD isoforms was the inital means of determining monoclonality (decades ago) and it was useful in females only. More recently, monoclonality is determined by looking at microsatellites (useful in both males and females).

Generally speaking, hyperplasia is polyclonal whether in males or females.
