Being advertised as a lower cost alternative to GE. anyone have any experience with one of these units?

Piece of crap. We just extricated ourselves from Comed this year. Get the GE, and not a Brivio. It's a much better piece of equipment, better supported, and with more parts available.

Whoa, that bad? I was thinking it might be more reliable than the Chinese c arms out there (I believe these are Korean manufactured).

By the way what's the issue with Brivo?

A major issue with the Comed is obtaining reliable service. Our service guy had to drive 4 hrs to get to us.

As for the Brivo...
Made in China. Fixed anode.

We are heavy users, so a fixed anode is a non-starter right there.
