Concerning Shadowing

Hey guys.
What do you think that I should get from shadowing experience at dental clinic?
I've been observed for just few visits but it feels like consistent routine and I don't think that I need to know specific treatment skills.
I appreciate any advice.

do you enjoy it? does it make you feel sick sometimes? Have you seen an extraction that made your gut turn and made you want to walk out for a minute?

I would look at the atmosphere. See if you like how the dentist interacts with patients and see if you could do that job day in day out non stop for 20 years. Could you seriously show up to work knowing the majority of what you will be doing is drill and fill, crown prep, putting braces on or root canals?
