I still dont get what connective tissue is. I know there are three parts to it which are cells, extracellular matrix and ground substance. And apparently the fat cells, cartilage cells and bone cells make connective tissues.
But I do not understand what makes them special. Is there something that "connective tissue" have that no other tissue in the body has?
