AAMC lists "temperature scales, conversions" as a topic.

I know how to convert from C to K and from K to C.

but what about from F to C or C to F?

@Cawolf

lol not when you don't know the formula.

/sigh

I guess another thing to add to me list of random facts to memorize.

Every US citizen should know it anyways!

Just remember that you need to multiply by 9/5 and add 32 to go bigger (C to F) and to go smaller (F to C) you subtract 32 and then multiply by 5/9!

20*9/5 + 32 = 4*9 + 32 = 36 + 32 = 68 F

A nice Fall day.

Well knowing 37 C is important at least.

37 C = 98.6 F

I think about the conversion between F and C the same way @Cawolf thinks about it! It's easy to mix up the equation while it's simpler to think about whether you should be getting a higher or lower temperature while converting.
Not likely that you'd see this on the MCAT, but it's worth knowing.
