I was arrested for a misdemeanor, however the court/conviction is still pending (no conviction yet). I'm planning on applying for my Psychologist license next month and they only ask for convictions. How should I handle this situation?

I would definitely call the board for that one for clarification. You do not want to be in a situation where they can allege that you withheld that info when you should have reported it. Also, document when you called, who you talked to, etc.

Talk to a lawyer who has experience with your licensing board. I know it is expensive, but compared to your education it is a drop in the bucket.
