75,000- 135000
can make more with overtime

i.e, more than a lot of Family Docs. Seems strange to me.

Famtia,
It varies depending on location # of hrs. worked and so on. Another VERY large factor is whether or not the CRNA works for an Anesthesia Assocation or if they contract themselves out. Some do both.

All of these are for memphis

Assocation Salaries
Starting: 120K right out of school
Others Depending on Experience 150K+ starting

Contract Anesthesia
The income varies but is significantly Higher than Assocation.
I know one who made over 300K last year contracting

Contract W\Assocation
Depends on Contract fees but around here about 300K+

Veterns Administration-
New Grad- 200K
and it goes up
VA benefits are great. I know my mom works there. You start off w\ 5weeks paid Vacation and 30 Paid Sick days. but there's a bunch of ness that goes on in the VA that doesn't in the Private Sector. You are a Federal Employee and get Federal holidays off.

VA and Contract.

I know the President of the TNAA (Tennesee Nurse Anesthetist) She made right at 500K last year. She contracts to a Small Rural hospital on her days off. Being the Only anesthesia provider

The 500K is NOT THE NORM FOR ANY anesthesia provider. Cost of living is quite in some areas of memphis too

Another benefit of working at a VAMC is that the CRNAs DO NOT take call
