Hey guys, I have my first interview tomorrow, and it's split MMI/traditional. I was wondering, what are some hot topics in healthcare and public health that I should be aware of going in? I'm informed on the Ebola outbreak, but are there any other current events I could be asked about? And I don't mean ACA stuff. Thanks in advance!

Your interview is tomorrow... and you are worrying about this TODAY! I prepped for weeks leading up to my interviews eek

You are doing this the day before....lol. Here is a brief list from the top of my head:
General topics that affect Americans: Obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, Hypertension, stress, cancer
Current events: Ebola vaccine testing, flu vaccines, concussions/injuries in youth sports, Marijuana legalization (parts of US),
Things to probably read about: Affordable care act

And don't forget the infamous: Where is american health care headed? How would you fix health care?

Good luck
