Hi All,
Forgive me if this issue has been addressed; this is actually my first post on here. I was wondering if there were any clinicians on this forum that have any experience receiving training in formal custody evaluation. I am currently on internship and will be completing a formal forensic fellowship next year, however it seems that custody evaluation is not a psycholegal construct that is formally addressed on most fellowships. Other than reading Phil Stahl and attending workshops, can anyone suggest any useful and ethically sound ways to receive this training? I understand the extreme contention and even greater adversarial nature that potentially comes with completing these evaluations, and want to make sure I'm searching out training experiences that are based both in legal precedent and sound science. Thanks and hope you all are well!
