Don't want to clutter the board but anyone know anything about deducting their ABR fees as an educational or work related expense on their taxes? Care to share how you did it?

They're only individually deductible if you itemize deductions. Then, they're only deductible if the total of your unreimbursed educational/professional expenses is more than 2% of your AGI. See: http://www.irs.gov/publications/p17/ch28.html

None of this applies to most single residents, for whom the standard deduction is likely greater than itemizing deductions. See 1040 Schedule A for more information on totaling itemized deductions and compare that to your standard deduction. Alternatively, any tax preparation software should be able to handle this for you. Residents often make less than $58,000, which makes you eligible for several free tax preparation software. I've been using http://www.hrblock.com/online-tax-filing/free-online-tax-filing/ which does include what I explained.
