Hi guys,
I am a foreign trained MD and I have passed all the USMLEs and currently practising as a head and neck surgeon in my home country, would it be possible for me to enter a DDS/DMD program as a 3rd year student in the US without having to redo basic science training?

Probably not since there is material that is taught to first and second year dental students that isn't taught to first and second year medical students. Examples include, but are not limited to, dental anatomy, occlusion, dental materials, and introductions/surveys into various dental specialties. Additionally, first and second years of dental school include a hands-on component designed to teach the techniques used in the clinical years.
