I searched and searched but couldn't find a list. I was wondering if anyone knew of a list or could contribute to this thread for schools where Dental students take classes with Medical students.

(Note I've already applied, this is just for curiosity's sake)

I know Western students are combined for classes with Osteopathic Students (DO) as well as podiatry I believe.

Harvard and Columbia both have students combined with Med students.

And I think I read Uconn does as well.

Any others?

Those are the schools that also give the DMD degree instead of DDS right?

Columbia does 1 and 1/2 years with med students, Harvard and UConn do 2 years.

I was surprised to learn that Harvard dental students are required to perform digital rectal and pelvic exams just like their med school peers.

Not exactly the cavities I was looking to fill... *ba-dum-tsss*

Now that's the kind of curriculum I think we can all get behind!

No difference between DMD or DDS except for the name.

Oh I know haha. I was just wondering if med school curriculums offered DMD's because of the "medical" based education and that it's "Doctor of Dental Medicine."
