What are the school subjects and years required to be a dermatologist?

I was being facetious :).

I suppose you could tack on possible years for PhD, research, masters, etc.

LOL. I figured you meant doing a PhD also, or doing a research year(s), or a "Masters" in Research.

What's the long path?

+/- additional time to get into medical school
+/- PhD
+/- other degrees pursued during medical school (MPH, MBA)
+/- research time taken during medical school
+/- research time taken after medical school
+/- pursuing Med-derm track
+/- pursuing 2+2 derm/research track
+/- fellowships before residency (more common amongst DOs from what I've seen thus far)
+/- fellowships after residency

After school atleast 5 year of college then you become the dermotologist.

Actually, no. You'll need more than 5 years of college to become the dermotologist.

This is a forum for residents and attendings.

We relax the rules for many medical students because our forum in general is more student-centric.

That being said, I caution you about posting if you don't know what you're posting about. Stay, search, read, relax, but stay silent unless you are making an accurate and meaningful contribution. And that probably applies to all the forums where you've been making odd comments...
