Did NYMC really lose accreditation for their MPH Program?

I recently heard from a friend that attends NYMC med school that NYMC School of Public Health has lost its accreditation...does anyone know if that's true?

As a student at the SPH I haven't heard of this at all.

Update - it looks like NYMC is transitioning the School of Public Health into an accredited health program, as opposed to being a separate school. This is according to the CEPH.

So losing accreditation? No.

Ah, just got an official email about this. The School of Public Health is becoming:

School of Health Sciences and Practice and Institute of Public Health
(with continuing CAPTE, CEPH, ASHA accreditation)

That's a mouthful, but it sure makes sense. Why in the world were our DPT and SLP programs in a school of public health? It doesn't fit.
