Hi everyone,

I am a computer science and biology major at my school. I took organic chemistry 1 in my first semester of university and got an A- . Because of my program and mandatory classes that were only offered in one of the two semesters, I was not able to take Organic 2 in the subsequent semester. I am now enrolled for the fall semester of organic 2... will dental schools not even look at my application if I don't take organic chem in sequence?

thanks!

Your fine. As long as you take the pre-rest and do well in them, you're fine.

You're perfectly fine. They only look to see that you've completed the courses - it's a boolean check.

Also, I love your combination of majors.

Thanks for the tips! P.S- it's a cool combo of majors :3

Hate to bring up and older thread but I was also thinking of switching to computer science as my major and was wondering what that's like I guess. Does it make finishing all the pre reqs more difficult or is it pretty laid back? And also do you think having that kind of a major will be a big deal when it comes to applying?
