Does anyone know what the difference between the two is?

Equally confusing is that they are both available in ER 60 mg capsules, yet I did not think the two brands were AB rated?

To be more specific RLD's are never AB rated to each other. Usually we can use the term "Brand" and "RLD" interchangeably, however, the idea of "Branded Generics" means that sometimes a "Brand" is not a RLD.

Avinza and Kadian are both RLD's. The release profiles are not the same. Whether they actually turned out to be clinically different is debatable.
