Difficulty getting into Social Work PhD programs

Hi everyone!

I'm looking to apply this Fall to doctoral programs in social work but I am wondering how difficult they are to get into. I have previous research experience, already have my MSW and am currently finishing an MPH, as well as competitive GRE scores. Anyone have any experience/stats they're willing to share?

There is hardly any discussion on this board about Social work PhD Programs. Have you tried over at GradCafe? If you search around over there you can find several really great discussions about this topic.
