Do grades in PA/NP school matter for getting a job?

Do grades you receive in PA school or rank you are in class matter for getting a job after graduation? Or are you just as likely as any of your classmates to get the job you want when you have your degree? Do employers use your board/national exam scores?

I've never heard of anyone asking for your GPA. No one has ever asked what schools I went to either, although it's on my resume.
