I'm assuming they need to be different because what's the point of the school of interest seeing two of the same LOR's? Am I correct?
Do LOR's to pharmcas and individual schools have to be different?

If you submit LORs to PharmCAS, then PharmCAS forwards them to individual PharmCAS schools as a part of your application. You aren't supposed to submit LORs to most PharmCAS schools directly, so the PharmCAS schools you apply to shouldn't get two copies of the same LOR.
For non-PharmCAS schools, they don't get anything from PharmCAS for obvious reasons. So, those schools only get one copy of each LOR too.
