Let's do a comparison of the DO vs MD residencies..
1) Do all osteo residencies require 1 year AOA internship + 3 years residency? Are any of them combined like the majority of MD positions?
2) What are a DO's options after not matching an MD spot? what are the chances to scramble for an MD spot?
3) can they still scramble for DO spots considering the DO deadline was a month prior? Personal experiences, opinions, or stories would be appreciated..
