I was wondering, does it matter when you schedule your interviews? Early vs. Late from the dates provided to by the program? I have been told that programs look at that and if you schedule interviews later with them then they know they are on the back burner. I have a few programs that are on the top of my list, but unfortunately do to them giving out interview invites later and my rotation schedule I had to schedule them later rather than earlier (from the dates that was provided to me). Any one have any inside knowledge on this! Thanks in advance1

This has been extensively discussed. Use the search feature. Short answer, no, does not matter significant. If you're good, you'll be good in October or January, and if you stink, you'll stink in October or January. Schedule interview when it is convenient for you to do so.
