How small is the pocket sized dictionary, and how much does it weigh? Also, why should one purchase updated versions of these books?

The regular Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary 32nd Ed. is 8.75 x 11 and weighs over 7 lbs.

The reason to get the new 32nd Edition of Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary would be to ensure that you stay up to date with changing terminology.
