So, I was charged with a DUI in 1997.... I was a stupid teen back then. I ended up serving a year worth of probation and had to do around 60 hours of community service... I was 18 at the time. Anyways, I believe that in the state of Texas, a DuI will be wiped off my record after 10 years if I didn't commit any other misdemeanors. But, I don't plan on lying and taking any chances so I'm going to put this on my ErAs app... My question is do I have to write a paragraph explaining how I was young and learned my lesson etc etc or do I just write down what I was charged with, the year, and what I did to serve my sentence?
