Early acceptance cards fellowships

I've heard there are fellowships that offer early acceptance spots, or reserve spots for people willing to do an extra year of research with that institution prior to starting fellowships. Does anyone have a list of such programs?

Fast track programs are usually advertised with the residency program. Is this what you're referring to?

Research Pathway programs in Cards are an additional 2-3 years depending on the program. You will spend that extra time in the lab.
