Quick question if anybody knows about EDP policy. If you applied EDP and the school does not let you know by Oct 1 regarding a post-interview decision, does that mean that you have been released to be able to apply to other schools? Best to contact the specific school?

Probably best to contact the school, just to make sure you don't jump the gun. As I understand it though, you're right. They have to give you a yea/nay by the deadline, and then you can go and apply elsewhere.

But I'd shoot them an e-mail just be sure that you have a solid 'no' before you move on.
