o Inotropism
o Intense vasoconstriction

o Vasopressin: larger increases in SVR, cerebral and coronary perfusion pressure vs EPI.
o Vasopressin is more effective vasoconstrictor than EPI in hypoxia, acidosis
o Vasopressin does not increase myocardial O2 consumption or lactate production vs EPI
