Hi everyone. I have a question for non-traditional applicants that have recently applied to Einstein School of Medicine. I am the exact definition of a non-traditional student having graduated college back in 2006 with a business degree. According to the website they require one LOR from someone within your major. Do they really make no exceptions to this rule for true non-traditional students? I have an excellent set of letters including three from science faculty members. Please tell me they will make an exception to this. Thanks.

It would be best to call/email Einstein and ask them about your own specific situation... But from talking with them last year, they are pretty strict on their requirements.

Their office is very nice though. I'm sure if you explain the situation, they'd understand in your case. Honestly, I forgot that the LOR in your major was even a requirement.
