Good day. I am Honey Jane. I am currently an Integrated Clinical Clerk in the Philippine General Hospital. It is equivalent to 3rd year medical school.

We have an option to do our clerkship elective off-campus and I am planning to go to Seoul, South Korea for that. I have been there last month, but only for a leisure trip. I really liked my experience there, plus being a fan of K-Pop, I decided that I'll try to go there for my elective. My Korean is enough to get by. Or so I think. :p

So far these are the schools that I have found in my research:

Seoul National University : http://oia.snu.ac.kr/study/03.jsp
Yonsei University: http://medicine.yonsei.ac.kr/en/General_infor/Visiting_Clerkships/
Samsung Medical Center: http://www.samsunghospital.com/
Korea University: http://korea.ac.kr/_2011edu/content/admission3_01.jsp

Which among the four would you recommend? Do you have any other suggestions?

I have yet to contact them regarding tuition fees and application fees.. but if anyone might have information on those, please do comment here.

I am also wondering about accommodation. Are there like student dorms that where I can stay? Hostels would be expensive if you consider staying for one whole month.

If you have any information that might help me, please comment here or email me at [email protected]. Thank you in advance! :D

Have you already gone to the elective?
If you are done with it, can you explain your experience there? I'm thinking of doing an elective in Korea for my M4.
