TBR chaper 10 gen chem example 10.14

What is the voltage anelectrochemical cell with an anode of zinc metal in 0.01 M Zn(NO3)2 (aq) and a cathode of zinc metal in 1.00 M AgNo3 (aq)?

answer is 1.62

Ecell = Estandard-(0.059/n)log {(Zn2+ anode/(Ag+cathode)^2}

why are they squaring the cathode?

For every Zn oxidized --> Zn2+, you'll be reducing the equivalent of 2 Ag+ --> Ag.
And you know for calculating Qrx values, coefficients end up squared in the fraction!
