I am in the final stretch of deciding if I will can my EMR of 9 years, ALLMeds. I have most closely looked at eClinicalWorks but the recent Medical Economics "EHR Scorecard" put SOAPware and MEDENT on top. Anyone using either and willing to share thoughts and experiencing?
My biggest obstacle for any new EMR is going to be data migration and conversion. I'm learning from the online eclinical forum that their promise for data migration is useless. I will need to pay a third party vendor to do the job correctly and even then very little clinical info will migrate.
