Just wanted to offer some tips for all you applying to residency programs. Most, if not all, programs have an information page(s) about their residency.

To keep from being disappointed, please read through all the information on there about the application process. There are key points that you need to be mindful of! If they have a minimum score requirement for USMLE or COMLEX exams, PAY ATTENTION! IF their minimum score is 220 for USMLE, or 550 for COMLEX, I can guarantee if you apply with a score of 200 or 500, your application will automatically be put on hold and not reviewed in the first wave of applications. The minimum scores are listed for a reason. The same is true if they have listed minimum passing score on first attempt. If you have had to take it more than once, your application is put on hold. I've already put more than 50 applications on hold for just those reasons this morning! PLEASE, we list the criteria for a reason! Thanks, and Good Luck!
