Extra work for Residents

I'll be an IMG doing residency in the states on a J1 visa. Although the J1 does not allow moonlighting, what extra work could I do to make money and help pay off loans?

I did very well on my steps and am thinking of becoming a USMLE tutor. Would I be able to do this as an official position, or would I have to do it under the table for cash?

Are there any positions at community hospitals I could do that would not jeopardize my visa? I have heard of IMGs moonlighting.

How else could I make extra money?

You cannot work anywhere else when on a J1. Not even online. If you do, you risk losing your visa status.
