Extracurriculars in Dental School?

In undergrad I've had to take a ton of EC's like shadowing, volunteering, research, and many more. I was wondering once you are in dental school do you have to take any extracurriculars or is specializing based more on stats, bc I know you are in school all day from 8-4. I would like to go ortho

You can do whatever you want in dental school...I'd worry more about taking the DAT first

Yes, for ortho you will need some ECs and some sucking up.
