Failed Comlex Step 2 PE

Hey everyone. Very miserable. I found out that I failed the PE. Not sure what I did wrong but obviously I didn't do a lot of things right that they wanted me to. I don't know what I did wrong and I'm not sure what more I can do to pass this test. I gotta dish out another grand for this test. Also as you all know, hotel and flight. I thought I studied extensively and well in advance and did what I needed to do.

I was wondering if anyone was willing to share their PE experiences from December or January. ...much appreciated. I think this would help me the most.

sorry about your bad luck mate,

my tips again if they may help you decide what you may have not done or need to do:

DRAPE every patient
ASK to untie gown and re-tie gown
WASH your hands before physical exam
+\- warm stethoscope
SUMMARIZE your impression and plan of care at end of assessment to patient
ASK if they have any questions
SHOW compassion at every opportunity
DO NOT DO a full exam, just a brief and focused physical exam
DO NOT DO a full mini-mental, +/- write that you would like to do it in plan
DO NOT DO blood pressure, assume the vitals are correct +/- write recheck BP in plan
It may help to write PMH/PSH/ROS/MEDS/AL/FAM/SOC on soap sheet before you go in, so as you don't forget to ask things
