FAP household quantity question!

Hey guys!

So i applied for FAP and I believe I entered the incorrect household number so I am appealing the application; however, I had a question in regards to my household number. I live with my brother and mother which would equal 3 of course but my brother doesn't go to college, he just works so he didn't qualify as a "dependent" under taxes but he certainly is. So does this affect the household number for FAP requirements? Does it HAVE to be a dependent child based on taxes only? I can provide them with tons of evidence that he does in fact live here but Idk if that'll make a difference.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Go by what 1040 form says, otherwise you can give AAMC a call.
