In terms of loans, I can only assume that any amount is qualifiable, possibly necessitating a co-signatory; if this wasn't the case, then many students wouldn't be able to attend the big privates that require such colossal loans [/conjecture on my part].
What happened to this thread?
Indeed, is there a reason you guys hijacked this and didn't seriously answer the OP's question?
And no, "Breaking Bad is an awesome show" is not an acceptable answer.
Yeah vlaura, way to go hijacking the thread!!
But to the OP, yes, the majority of people finance their education through the virtually unlimited amount of student loans you can take out. Just take out as LITTLE as possible. I personally think we'll be approaching a breaking point soon, where the debt load that's undertaken becomes so huge that it's just not worth going to school for the degree anymore. That goes for both undergrad and graduate programs.
Some people finance something like 400k to get a degree. That's not worth it in my opinion. If you can get out of a d-school with 200k or less that's more "reasonable".
