I did the masters program at USF and finished with a 3.78
I have over 300 hours of shadowing
About 100 hours of clinical volunteering
1 year in a psychology research lab
About 100 hours of non clinical volunteering
I was involved in a salsa club during undergrad (thought it was unique)
I worked throughout college
I currently work at a drs. Office during my gap year (not sure if that helps)
I was on the presidents and deans list several semesters
I only applied MD

Cubans are not generally considered UiM.
Language skills will be appreciated, though.
Your state public MD schools and DO schools are the best bet.
Unless you are Afro-Cuban, the HBCU's are a real long shot. Howard matriculated one Cuban, Morehouse none...

Thanks. Honestly I wasnt aware those were HBCUs. Should I not even bother submitting secondaries for them

Many of the schools on your list are equally low yield, I'm afraid.

Your chances are better at U Florida and USF than many of the OOS schools you choose. You have several OOS public schools that accept very few non residents with your stats such as Maryland, Stony Brook, SUNY Downstate, SUNY Upstate, South Carolina, Rutgers, Rowan and MUSC.
