1. In ideal fluid flow, velocity is inversely proportional to:
A. Pressure
B. the cross sectional area of the conduit

aren't both of these correct? Higher flow velocity is lower pressure by bernoulli's principle.

Book says that only B is correct.

Inversely proportional would imply that P*V=const. That is not the case, the Bernoulli's equations is ρv^2/2+P=const which is not inversely proportional.
 
i don't understand this

velocity is inversely proportional to both area and pressure, how does the constant play into this?
