I am considering getting a dual degree MD/MPH, and I think I would want to concentrate in epidemiology as far as the MPH is concerned. The idea would be to use my MPH ultimately in a public policy area. Which schools are particularly known for producing public health officials? The immediate one that comes to mind is Columbia, if for no reason other than that was where the current CDC president got his MPH. Are there others? Am I totally off base?
