For taking radiographs, do you use XCP film holder or those white stabes?

I've been using those XCP film holders that look like this:

. However, they can be a bit of a hassle to use and can be time-consuming. Do you guys ever use stabes which look like:

. If you use stabes, do you feel it is better and less time-consuming than using the XCP film holders?

red, yellow, and blue film holders and phosphor plates, here. I feel I have less retakes, because if the film moves, the aiming ring moves, and I can see it and readjust or have the patient hold it steady.

Rinn holders and Kodak sensors in my office. The hygienists use a holder called wingers for bite wings .

I use the old best way, patients finger and some pressure on the film method.

These rings I use to use to learn angulation back in my beginning as an assistant.

I use stabes but we have xcp holders too.

The assistants/hygienists aren't too great with the stabes in my experience. Angulation problems or cone cut.
