PhD/PsyD Ford Dissertation Completion Fellowship

So in the midst of applying for pre-doc internships, some professors recommended I also apply for a Ford Dissertation Fellowship. The main deadline was 11/15 with supplemental materials due 1/9. I think we hear back sometime in March.

Anyone else on here apply? Or have past experience with the process? Any Ford Fellows among us?

Were/are your deadlines the same? What does the pre-doc fellowship entail?

Yup, they were. They application entail a personal essay, a past research experience essay, and a proposed study.

This may be a dumb question - but do they hold interviews? When / where are they? When do we find out if we get the interview / fellowship? I can't find any info on the website.

Seems folks began finding out late last week. Nothing here, but I'm assuming the silence means no award. Ford is pretty transparent and the list of awardees and honorable mentions has gone up and is being updated as it changes.
