Assalamoalikum, May Peace Be On All Of You, Please Help Me.i Am Under Graduate Atudent And Much Confused About My Post Graduation Studies.
I Want To Know Is There Any Possibilty To Do Frcs Or Frcp Or American Board Exam After Doing Fcps (post Graduation In Pakistan)?
Will My Residency Period Be Cut Short Because Of My Training Here In Pakistan?
Shall I Have To Start From The Very Begining Like For Frcs Plab And For American Board Membership Uslme Steps?

Imran,

I can only tell you about the US system. You will have to finish medical studies in Pakistan. Then you will have to take USMLEs (all 3 of them) and that takes time...about a year to finish all 3. Then you apply for residency here...which can be anywhere from 3-6 years or more depending on your specialty.
